Donation Amount for the Bushfire Appeal

Here is an anouncement that was on the Stampin' Up! website today,

"We're thrilled to report that to date, with the sales of the Bushfire Appeal stamp sets, we'll be able to donate $58,131.68 to the Australian Red Cross Victorian Bushfires 2009 Appeal."

Wow that is just fantastic. Thanks to all the people who have help make this happen by purchasing the bushfire appeal stamp sets.

Bush Fire Appeal Update

Thanks to all of you who have ordered sets from the bush fire appeal list.

Stampin' Up! have advised us today on the demonstrator website that to date, with the sales of the Bushfire Appeal stamp sets, we'll be able to donate $34,653.80 to the Australian Red Cross Victorian Bushfires 2009 Appeal. This appeal has only been running for two weeks so that is a great result.

Remember we still have another month that the appeal will be running to increase this amount so I will keep you up to date with the progress. Thanks again for your support of this worthy cause.

Bushfire Appeal

My heart goes out to all the people who have been devastated by the fires that have ravaged parts of Victoria. I can't imagine what they are all going through.

Stampin' Up! wants to help and have set up a Bushfire Appeal.

From 12 February through 31 March 2009, when you purchase any of a select group of 10 stamp sets, Stampin' Up! will donate 50 percent of the sales of these sets to the Australia Red Cross Victorian Bushfire's 2009 Appeal.
