THE SUMMER MINI IS HERE!

You can now view it on the Stampin’ Up! Website just click on this link Online Catalogues. I am able to take orders from now until the end of March 2008. This catalogue has some fantastic stuff in it. In particular there is a fantastic selection of new double sided Designer Papers, wide grosgrain ribbon and some beautiful new stamp sets.

I have been busy today decorating a jewellery box for my Niece for Christmas. I have used the Enchante Designer Double-Sided Paper (NEW), French Flair Background Stamp (NEW), French Script Background Stamp, On Board Accents, On Board Simon Lower, Celery Grosgrain Ribbon and Perfect Plum Card Stock.

I also want to let you all know about a special deal I am offering. I am looking for a third person to join my demonstrator team before Christmas so I wanted to provide a little incentive to those of you who might be considering joining the SU! Family. If I get a third person I will be able to name our group and I would really love to do that. I am offering to the first person that contacts me to sign up to be a demonstrator one extra stamp set of their choice up to the value of $79.95. This offer does have conditions. The person will have to sign up by the 14th of Dec 2007 which would mean they may get their starter kit in time for Christmas (no guarantees as it all depends on freight and availability). What a fantastic present that would be!

I also have a little inside info that there will be an advertisement in the January edition of “Australian Scrapbook Creations” Magazine that is due to go on the shelves on Dec the 12th which has an offer of 10% off the starter kit price. To get the discount you just need to use the promotional code contained in the ad on your sign up form. The 10% off means that if you buy the basic starter kit you will pay $291.60 instead of $324.00, that is a saving of $32.40 and if you get the Stampin’ Memories add on you will pay $359.10 instead of $399 which is a saving of $39.90. So if you are interested in joining my team now would be a perfect time to do it.

"But what if I don't want to hold workshops?" you might ask? Did you know that signing up is a great way to feed your card making or scrapbooking habit while saving money? You don't have to hold workshops as long as you meet the minimum quarterly sales target of $500 and you can do this using your own purchases which you will be entitled to the demonstrator cost price as well as any hostess gifts or promotions. How good is that!

My team currently consists of Chenoa Goedhart (Narromine), Zarna Gould (Parkes) and myself, Lisa Robb (Dubbo). If you want an information brochure or want to ask me some questions just send me an email.

Now here comes another special! For all orders over $100 placed with me by the 14th of December I will be offering free postage! What a great opportunity to get Christmas presents for your family, friends, or yourself. Why not give your wish list and my phone number to your husband, partner or family member so they can get a good deal too.

One more reminder, the Holiday Thyme Christmas Papers are only available till the 15th of December so if you wanted to get some, now is the time to do it before they are no longer available.

These specials only apply if you purchase through me as they aren’t from Stampin Up. If you have any questions regarding these promotions or would like to host a workshop please don’t hesitate to send me an email.

Cards i have made Lately

Here are some pictures of some of the cards i have been making lately. I have been slack in putting them on my blog...sorry. They have all been made using Stampin' Up! products.

There have been others but some of them i forgot to scan before i sent them to the people they were made for.

"All in the Family" and "Just in Thyme"

I am sad to say that this blog entry is starting off with some sad news. You may or may not know that the Australian General Manager of Stampin’ Up!, Dave Abbott, recently passed away from a rare blood disease, at the age of 41, leaving behind his wife and 3 young children. Stampin’ Up! have just released the stamp set called ‘All in the Family’ in Australia in order to raise money for Dave’s family. 100% of the proceeds of the sale of this stamp set worldwide will be donated to Dave’s young family. The ‘All in the Family’ stamp set will appear in the Idea Book & Catalogue 2008-2009 (which will be released in April), but has been pre-released to raise money for the Abbott family. The promotion will run from the 1st of November through till the 30th of November. The set will not be available again after the 30th of November until the 1st of April. For more information on this stamp set click on the following link.

http://www3.stampinup.com/au/ena/5405.asp

I have decided as part of this worthwhile cause to offer a very special deal. This deal is only if you order through me. For each purchase of the ‘All in the Family Stamp’ Set ($73.95 + $5.95 Postage and Handling) you can purchase a Stamp-a-ma-jig for just $10 (normally sells for $22.95). The reason for this special deal is that a Stamp-a-ma-jig will help you get the most out of this stamp set because it allows you to line up the stamps perfectly every time.

If you don't want the Stamp-a-ma-jig or purhaps you may already have one i am also offering this set at the reduced cost of $59.16 + $5.95 P&H.

On a happier note, Stampin’ Up! Have a new promotion this month called “Just in Thyme!”. From November 1st till December 15th you will be able to order the most gorgeous Christmas Designer Double Sided Paper for $14.50 + P&H (usual retail value $16.95) Click on the following link for more information. http://www3.stampinup.com/au/ena/5401.asp. There is no limit as to how many packs you can order at that price either BUT it’s for a limited time only!! Below is Christmas card and box that i have made using these wonderful papers.

Well that is the specials for this month. Remember also that the Spring Mini Catalogue will soon end on November 30th so now is the time to order the things you want from it before it is finished. On the 1st of December there will be the release of the New Summer Mini Catalogue! I will let you know more about it soon but let me tell you this…..it is fantastic, so stayed tuned for more information.
If you have any questions regarding these promotions or would like to host a workshop please don’t hesitate to call me or send me an email.

I'm Back

Sorry guys, it has been a long time since i have posted. I do have some very good excuses for this, the first is that i was very sick for about a week. I was just recovering when i had a huge workshop for my friend Colleen which was full on but heaps of fun, thanks for the fantastic turnout. Then it was off to Sydney for 6 days to celebrate my birthday with my family and share my new stamps and equipment. I spent one afternoon/evening making some cards with Annette, Megan and Monique which was great (hi girls) and the next night i had yet another workshop, this time for my Mum and her friends. A big hello and thanks to all the ladies who came along, I had a great time and i will be sure to bring my equipment with me next time i am visiting. The time went too quickly and it was time to come home. I had a couple of days rest before i had to prepare for another workshop. It too went very well, what a fantastic job i have! Thanks to everyone who attended Shelleigh's workshop!
If all that wasn't enough excuse, my husband's computer was upgraded as well so i had to wait for him to load the photo software on again to post pictures of my cards on the blog.
All in all it has been a very busy and fun time and i will hopefully get my act together very soon and upload more card and scrapbooking photos.
Bye for now,
Lisa

Christmas 2004 Double Page Layout

This page has been made using Stampin' Up! products and products from other companies. I tried to submit this page to one of the Scrapbooking Magazines but unfortunately it wasn't what they were looking for. Better luck next time i guess.
  • I have used Creative Memories Stickers, Kaiser Rub Ons and all the ribbon, stamps, card stock and papers are from Stampin' Up.
  • The card stock i used is Creamy Caramel, Garden Green and Ruby Red.
  • The borders are stamped with the French Script Background stamp using Versamark.
  • And the patterned paper is from the Recollections Designer Series Paper pack.
  • I have also used Taupe Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin' Up! Dimensionals and SNAIL Adhesive.
I had a lot of fun doing this layout even if it did take me two days!

Birthday Card

This is a Birthday Card i made a while ago but i didn't want to put it on the blog until it has reached its destination. I love these colours, they look so elegant.
  • I have used Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White and Always Artichoke Card stock.
  • The stamps are from the Heartfelt Thanks set.
  • And i have used Always Artichoke, Perfect Plum & Basic Black Classic Ink Pads and VersaMark Watermark Stamp Pad. It was put together using the SNAIL Adhesive.

This card design was inspired by a card that was made by one of the people at my workshop a couple of weeks ago. These would have to be my favourite colours in the whole range but i guess you can tell that because i have used them a lot. I may have to invest in a full packet of just Always Artichoke as it seems to just go with everything!

Make and Take Night

I am toying with the idea of having a make and take night at my house next month (maybe mid August). This is the concept.....i pick a theme such as Christmas cards for example and make up two designs and get all the card stock and accessories for each person to make 10 cards (5 of each design). We then pick a night and anyone who comes can make their 10 cards using my stamps and equipment. An entry fee will be charged but you get to take home the 10 cards you have made. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. If this sounds interesting to you (and you live in Dubbo or the surrounding area of course) please leave a comment on this post or send me an email.

Here is an example of what you are able to make. This card was made by my friend Renee at a night i had recently.

If you don't live in Dubbo remember that you can still order Stampin' Up! products from me and they can be shipped straight to you from the warehouse. Also if your order is above $300 you will earn a hostess gift and $30 credit to spend on even more stuff. Please email me if you have any questions. The postage fee for orders is either 5% of the order amount or a minimum of $5.95 which ever is greater.

The Teddy Strikes Again

I love my "Favourite Teddy Bear" stamps. Here is the loveable little guy on a baby boy card! To make this card i have used the following Stampin' Up! products:

  • Stamps from the Warmest Regards Hostess Gift, Favourite Teddy Bear & Weathered Stamp Sets.

  • Night of Navy, Very Vanilla and Brocade Blue Card Stock.

  • Brocade Blue Classic Stampin' Pad, Bluebird Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin Dimensionals and SNAIL Adhesive.

I loved this card so much that i just had to make a girl version. For this card i used the same design but just changed the colours and backround stamp.

  • Stamps from the Warmest Regards Hostess Gift, Favourite Teddy Bear & Paisley Stamp Sets.

  • Elegant Eggplant, Very Vanilla and Orchid Opulence Card Stock.

  • Orchid Opulence Classic Stampin' Spot, Light Orchid Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin Dimensionals and SNAIL Adhesive.
I would love to know which one is your favourite so please leave a comment!
